Foodie time again! The adventure to look for the best korean restaurants never stop when I'm in KL. It's like almost everytime I went to KL I will be visiting Solaris Mont Kiara, at least once! Solaris Mont Kiara is like a mini Korea where they have alot of korean restaurant! Korean Food Heaven.
Sae Ma Eul BBQ Restaurant is now on my top list Korean bbq restaurant! I've been there like 3 times in just 2 months and everytime also super packed one! So you know how good it is! The crowd is actually the one that grab our attention when bf and I was searching for food on a random day!
Fall in love with their food on my first visit and decided to bring Joanne for our second round! :D
When we are hungry, this is the thing that satisfy us the most. Juicy and tender marinated bbq meat!! Aww!
And then Joanne also "approved" their food and we brought Jessica there again! Awww I miss both of them! :(
Their menu is pretty simple. A one page 2 sided menu. No need to think so much and I'm pretty sure the main course would be meat, meat, meat, pork, and also some side dishes? lolll.
We ordered the same food everytime because it is too yummy! :3
BBQ Set (RM55) which comes with Sliced Pork Belly, Pork Shoulder and Grilled Baby octopus! Super worth! But we realise the meat portion was lesser than the first time I visited them. :(
Probably they have too many customers to serve? *Giving excuses to go again. LOLL
Baby Octopus! Okay I know it might look a little bit creepy here HAHA! But it taste good after we grilled it. I don't really like octopus but this is good! Sweet juicy and explosion in your mouth when you eat it!
Tzz Tzz Tzz~ Ughhh! I droll all over my keyboard while looking at the photos! :(
Pork ribs marinated in special soy sauce (RM27) and it's imported from Korea! Look at the juicy and tender meat! Such a torment to me ah looking at those photo! It's like the food is infront of me but I can't eat it, but wait ... I can smell them! HAHAHA wtf!
Kimchi Stew (RM13) which I think it's quite cheap because normally it costs about 20+ at other restaurant. Alot of kimchi inside and also my favourite! Yummm!
And this is what I highly recommend to you guys! Introducing the Spicy Rice Ball (RM20). Korean traditional rice ball! Eventhough it's spicy, you just can't cant stop eating them.
The fun part of eating this dish is that they will give you a glove to roll the rice yourself. Fun yet delicious. I seriously need one now.
Grill the rice ball then! You can also eat it without grill it I think? But the taste of the rice ball went up to 928@#$2617@(%^$# level after you grilled it HAHA! The rice outside covering the inner part become crispy and it's that crunchy when you bite it. It taste super spicy, like seriously HAHA I actually got abit addicted on their rice ball and I miss this the most! It gets you addicted, becareful.
Btw if you're worry that those meat can't satisfied your big tummy, rice can! LOL! :P
And they even serve us with free ice water! Perfect match with spicy rice ball HAHA. I think we refilled for like 5 times plus? :P
Oh ya, there will be no tax if you pay by cash! However if you use credit card, there will be a 6% tax. So do prepare and go with cash HAHAHA! I think their food is good, especially the rice ball! *OMG how many times do I want to repeat HAHA! And for price wise, it's reasonable! Just that they don't have much side dishes like other Korean Restaurant do but I think it's okay! :)
